Creating folders and files

From the Files toolbar you can create a new folder, and even create a text file from scratch and edit it right in the browser.

Creating a folder

  1. Click the New folder icon in the toolbar.
  2. Type the folder name and confirm.

Creating a text file

  1. Click the New file icon.
  2. Write the content in the editor that opens and save.
You may need permissionCreating a folder needs the create folder permission; creating a file needs upload. If you can't see the icon, ask your administrator.
